Snowy fractions!

Today maths was a bit different, Because of all the snow we decided we would do fractions outside! So we all had groups of three and got a couple of sponges, a syringe and a cup of food colouring. Mrs Phillips would yell out a fraction and one person from each group would have to either use the syringe or sponge to draw one way of showing it! After that we had to make a snow pile, half it then quarter one of the halfs, Then we had to make a snow stucture with those fractions and mark which fraction it was!
It was so cold but so much fun!
